For a case to be heard in the Children's Koori Court, the child/young person must:

  • Be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Want to have their case heard in the Koori Court
  • Not be charged with a sex offence
  • Plead guilty or have been found guilty of their offence.
