Moogahlin Performing Arts Incorporated is New South Wales’ leading first people’s performing arts company. Moogahlin was formed in November 2007, by a group of first people’s artists, educators and community workers at the request of the late Kevin Smith and in honour of the founding members of the National Black Theatre. We are based on Gadigal country in Redfern, Sydney. Moogahlin (muu-garl-in) is a Yuin/Bundjalung word meaning to play, to fool about.
